The Russian olive, is a deciduous tree known for its showy fragrant blooms, pea size fruit and long lasting silver foliage that gives and excellent contrast even into the winter months. It was first introduced for its ornamental value, as well as for windbreaks and erosion control, but it's hardy, fast-growing.
