Rosemary features narrow, needle-like, glossy dark green leaves with a silvery-white underside.The leaves have a strong, pungent, and pine-like fragrance when crushed. Leaves are used fresh or dried to flavour roasted meats (especially lamb, poultry, and pork), vegetables, stews, sauces, and bread.
